The Aichi 14 is an ideal access unit for underbridge access and bridge inspections on motorways and roads. This self drive access platform has a 6.2m two-cage that can lift payloads of up to 1,000kg to a maximum working height of 14m - allowing installation engineers to fit large components easily. Structural inspections are also made more efficient with this underbridge unit and more tools can be carried easily to the work face.
The Aichi 14 access platform has simple to use controls, as well as a variable jacking width, and both the cage and boom have a 360 degree rotation allowing you to keep parallel to the workface throughout. Universal provides the essential IPAF training for this self drive access unit and it can be driven on a standard licence.
