At Universal we offer IPAF operator training courses, enabling you to operate certain access platforms. Once you have taken the IPAF operator training course, you are awarded the IPAF PAL card, which states what categories of MEWPS can be operated. These IPAF operator courses can take place either on your own premises, or at one of our IPAF training centres - located in Hickstead, Basildon, London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Southampton and Birmingham.
This IPAF Training course (1b) provides cherry picker training for truck and van mounted platforms, such as the Ascendant 17, the Ascendant 22 and the Aichi 14.
This IPAF Training course (1b) provides cherry picker training for road towable and trailer mounted platforms, such as the Nifty 90 and the Nifty 120.
This IPAF training course (3b) provides training for boom lifts and other forms of mobile boom platforms such as the Haulotte Star 10(HM10P), the H16TPX and the JLG 150hx.
This IPAF Training course (3a) provides training for scissor lifts and other forms of mobile vertical platforms, such as the Skyjack 3219, 3226, 9250, and the Upright SL20/30.

IPAF Spider training - This two day course provides training for Spider and Mantis type static boom platforms (with multiple outrigger settings) such as the Spider TS26, TS29 and the Denka DL22N.
