Our narrow access telescopic range of platforms have working heights up to 50 meters yet only 0.8m width, so they can fit through a standard doorway. Narrow Access Telescopic or Mantis Booms
Extremely compact stowed dimensions characterise the Mantis range. Althoughoffering maximum working heights of 38m (125ft) some models are only 0.8m(2ft6") wide and can enter a standard personnel doorway making the Mantisideal for working in office and shopping mall atriums.
The Mantis range of narrow access booms has been exclusively imported intothe UK by Universal, for hire and sale for the past eight years, and we haveaccumulated a vast range of solutions for complex and problematic access situations.

Features and Benefits
Maximum outreach of 18m (59') and 360 degree rotation of the turret give a large operating envelope. Platform capacity of 200kg (440lbs) allows 2 man operation.
The working platforms of our narrow access telescopic booms extend up to 1.9m (6'3") and wide rotate 180 degrees around the end of the boom to position the operator parallel to any working surface.
Narrow one man optional work platform W 0.8m(2'7") x L 0.8m (2'7") allows access to restricted areas. Extend reach Tip Booms up to 2.5m (8'3") allow overreach of obstructions.
Non-marking tyres allow operation on carpets, raised computer flooring and other high value flooring finishes. Optional rubber tracks allow operation on stone flagging, grass or other easily damaged surfaces.
Numerous Stabiliser-leg configurations allow best use of irregular or restricted floor space. Stabiliser-legs can be set up on uneven ground-even on steps.
Rubber based jack-free pads offer maximum protection to flooring finishes. Dual Power-Mains Electric (240-380V) for emission free internal operations or silent pack diesel for environmentally friendly external operations.
